Blue Daisies

dress: thrifted. bag: vintage. boots: vintage.
These are my go to boots and bag. I can't help it. I love them so much. The only thing that bothers me is that the boots are kind of painful if they touch your leg so I always have to wear knee highs with them. That's okay though. I went to catholic school for 13 years. By now I know how to rock a pair of knee highs. And look at this blue dress, a two dollar thrift find. The daisies and shape give it a very 60s feel, which I adore. As you can see, my bangs have reached the grown out stage. Although I enjoy how they look in these photos, they can be a bit unruly at times. So my question to you is, do I continue to grow them out until I have no bangs at all or cut them again? As much as I enjoy bangs, I would really like to have long enough hair to leave it with its crazy curls every day. The hair dilemma has struck again.
Until next time, Mandy

    1. That's so true. I've had some sort of bangs for as long as I can remember. I think I will grow it out now. Thank you for the advice!

  4. What a perfect thrift find of a dress! It is really such gorgeous color on you. I have a pair of similar boots and I really need to wear them this way more with little knee highs and a short dress - so cute. You seriously have the best hair ever:) xx Marisa

  5. i think the socks with the boots are a lucky little thing - it looks perfect and it a great solution. and you look just like a model from the 1960s here, i seriously could picture you in a vogue from 1960 in this outfit. i love it.

  6. Ah, the hair dilemma. Never-ending, no? I'm currently growing it all out. I will want my bangs back eventually, but I feel like the rest of my hair needs to be a bit longer for that to work. Trying to wait patiently.
I just love the mod feel of this outfit. It's so sassy! : )

    1. Yeah waiting for hair to grow out is the worst. It seems to take forever. But I think that growing it out is a good idea, it's time for something new.

  8. I love the way wavy/curly hair looks with bangs, although I might be biased because that's the hairstyle that I have. I've gone back and forth for the past few years but I have to say I always end up going back to bangs. I think you look lovely, but it's all about the kind of style you want! I feel that sans bangs is more "beachy". Anyways, your outfit is too cute and all secondhand too, what a plus!

  15. You are too cute!! The nice thing about growing out your bangs is that you can do all sorts of wonderful retro bumps and updos as it grows out! Did someone say victory rolls? I think you should go for it, and if you get tired of waiting, chop em again! You'd be adorable either way :) I've been coming to your blog for a while and finally just started my own with my boyfriend (we're starting a vintage shop on etsy and figured it would be a nice bonus to have a blog!) If you get a chance, give it a look over. We would love to be featured on your page with all the other wonderful blogs you have listed! xoxooxoxo
