Navy Stripes And Alleyways

Jeans: Levi's. Shirt: Nordstrom. Sweater: Anthropologie. Scarf: Forever 21. Shoes: Target.
I took the first few photos inside because I really wanted to wear my new boots with this outfit. I had it all planned out in my head, but I woke up to find it freezing and slightly snowy. These conditions were not acceptable for heels or suede, so I decided to just throw on my brown flats because they go with anything. As for my new scarf, I am in love with the color, but there is a downside...it sheds so much! After five minutes wearing the scarf, I looked down at my jeans and they were covered in red fuzz. From now on, I am going to have to bring a lint roller with me whenever I decide to wear this scarf. Also, I entered the Refinery 29 Styleblogger competition. I'm sure that you've seen a bunch of people doing this already, but if you could vote for me it would mean so much. If you press ctrl f and then type in Mandy, all you have to do is click on the little heart next to my photo. Thank you so much!
Until next time, Mandy

Burnt Orange and Brick Walls

Jacket: Anthropologie. Dress: Modcloth. Shirt: Vintage. Shoes/tights: Target
I had an extremely successful vintage shopping day! I will be posting some pictures of my finds in the coming days. I visited three new vintage shops in Chicago and found something to buy at every one. I battled the freezing weather in this outfit. Even though the jacket is not very heavy, it stood up well to the blistering winds, if only my hair would've done the same. Round two of shopping begins in approximately sixteen hours. Wish me luck.

Thursday Afternoon at Anthropologie

These letters are made out of yarn. Such a great idea.
I really want to do this at my dorm. I have always loved the exposed light bulb look.
My new jacket! I always seem to find amazing sale items at this anthropologie. I saw it hanging in the corner and I couldn't resist. It is my new favorite color, it is really unique, and it was half off. Whats better than that?

After school on Thursday, I was really in need of an anthropologie trip. Whenever I go into this shop, I automatically get inspired. I'm pretty sure that I say I want to live there every single time. The wood floors and brilliant displays always give me new ideas. Too bad I decorated my room when I was twelve; pink and green stripes do not produce a very rustic feel. Even though most of the clothing is expensive and all I can do is picture myself wearing the items, the sale room is usually packed. I always head straight to the sales right when I go in and I always seem to find something, like my new coat that I absolutely love.
Until next time, Mandy
